Veteran actor Zeenat Aman who recently debuted on Instagram, treated her fans with yet another throwback picture. Zeenat was pictured with Vardhini Scharwachter, her mother. Along with sharing a heartfelt note for her mother, she also disclosed that the majority of her family photos were destroyed in the 2005 floods in Mumbai. Zeenat Aman took a trip down memory lane and shared a black and white picture along with her mother on her unverified Instagram account. The actress shared a rare picture from her adolescences. Sharing the picture, she captioned, “If I have lived an extraordinary life it’s because I was brought up by an extraordinary woman. My mother Vardhini Scharwachter was what you’d call a ‘pataka’. Elegant, intelligent, feisty and my pillar of support.” She further added. “She was a practicing Hindu and she epitomised the ideas of tolerance, love and empowerment. Her faith did not stop her from marrying my father Amanullah Khan. Later, after they had separated, she fell in love with and married a wonderful German man, whom I called Uncle Heinz. She taught me to stand on my own two feet and to live life on my own terms. She was truly the wind beneath my wings. I lost most of my family photographs in the Mumbai floods of 2005, and so the few that i can find are all the more precious to me.” Fans flooded her comments section with love. A user wrote, “Ur my fav, loved ur acting in the movie "don","satyam shivam sundaram"...u looked great in both modern n village roles..#fan from Karnataka,” another fan wrote, “Hope you are doing great ma'am lots of love and wellness to you.” A comment read, “You two look so beautiful,” while another comment read, “Lovely picture ma’am.” Zeenat Aman is an Indian actress and a former model. The Evil Within (1970), starring Dev Anand, marked the former beauty queen's acting debut. She has acted in films like Yaadon Ki Baarat, Satyam Shivam Sundaram, Qurbani, Dharam Veer, Hare Rama Hare Krishna, Insaaf Ka Tarazu among others.
