Virat Kohli recently jetted off to New York for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 alongside his wife, actress Anushka Sharma, and their two children, Vamika and Akaay. The family was spotted at the Mumbai airport, with Virat graciously stopping for photos while requesting the paparazzi to respect Anushka's privacy with the kids.
This trip comes on the heels of a dinner outing Anushka and Virat enjoyed with friends in Mumbai. The outing marked Anushka's first public appearance in the city since welcoming their son, Akaay, earlier this year. The couple announced the heartwarming news in February, sharing their joy with fans through a statement.
Prior to the departure for the World Cup, Anushka celebrated her 36th birthday with a small gathering in Bengaluru. Fellow cricketer Faf du Plessis shared a glimpse of the celebration on social media, featuring the birthday girl alongside him and Virat.
While Virat gears up for the T20 World Cup, fans eagerly await Anushka's return to the silver screen. The actress is set to star in Chakda Xpress, a biopic based on the life of legendary Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. This film will mark her comeback after a six-year hiatus from acting, with her last movie appearance being in Zero alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in 2018.
