After making waves in its home country and receiving praises in India, Nushrratt Bharuccha starrer film Akelli is now set to captivate audiences in Israel and worldwide as it gains official selection at the prestigious 39th Haifa International Film Festival.
The premiere, which is set to be held today, will be attended by the entire star cast, celebrating the film's theatrical release in Israel as well! The event will begin at 7.30 in the evening with the screening scheduled at 8.15 pm.
As Akelli prepares to take centre stage at the Haifa International Film Festival, it only proves that art has no boundaries. The collaboration between India and Israel through Akelli in the world of cinema reflects the growing cultural exchange between the two nations. Israeli actors Tsahi Halevi and Amir Boutrous's contributions to the film enrich its narrative, adding depth and authenticity to their respective roles.

Akelli was produced by Nitin Vaidya, Ninad Vaidya, and Aparna Padgaonkar along with Vicky Sidana & Shashant Shah. Dashami Studioz, founded in 2016, has already established itself as a significant player in the content-rich Marathi cinema. The film delves deep into themes of bravery, resilience, liberation.
