Karan Johar calls KILL premiere at TIFF “madness and special”; pens a note for non-stop actioner starring “die-hard commando” Lakshya

Filmmaker Karan Johar, Oscar-winning producer Guneet Monga, and the cast and crew of their upcoming film, KILL, attended its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on Saturday. The film is directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat and stars Lakshya in the lead role.

Post the screening, Johar took to Instagram to share his excitement about the film's reception. He wrote, "Tonight at midnight in Toronto was madness and special!!!! Crazy and manic audience responses was so heartening and exhilarating to experience!!! This non stop actioner on a moving train is a BLOODathon on steroids!! A genre film that introduces @itslakshya as a die hard commando! And @raghavjuyal as the No holds barred antagonist !!!"

Johar also thanked Monga and her banner Sikhya Entertainment for their collaboration on the film. He said, "Thanks @guneetmonga @achinjain20 for being dream collaborators with @apoorva1972 and I …..can’t wait for all of you to see this NEVER MADE BEFORE film! The fight may I add is for LOVE!!! #KILL coming to F##K with your head soon!!!!"

For the unversed, KILL had its world premiere at Toronto International Film Festival’s Midnight Madness Screening held at the Royal Alexandra theatre.

Speaking of KJo’s professional front, his last directorial venture, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, received a positive response and managed to do good business at the box office.
