With the release of the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Pathaan inching closer, comments and reactions on the film’s trailer and the actor’s look don’t seem to be ending. The latest to get enchanted by SRK is Shekhar Kapur.
The veteran filmmaker has expressed his wonder on Shah Rukh’s look in Pathaan. He took to his official Twitter page and wrote, “How does #ShahRukhKhan continue to look so amazing ? .. he could give heroes half his age a run for their money. #PathaanTrailer @iamsrk.” With this tweet, it seems Kapur might be one of those who would catch a show of Pathaan in the first weekend itself.

Kapur has some acclaimed films to his credit that include Masoom, Mr India, Bandit Queen, Elizabeth, among others. He has never teamed up with Shah Rukh in any film so far.
Coming back to Pathaan, the action film, which is directed by Siddharth Anand, is doing some unprecedented advance booking sales. The film sold as many as 18,000 tickets yesterday in just 120 minutes at Prasad’s Multiplex in Hyderabad.
Pathaan also became the first film that would have an early morning screening at Mumbai’s iconic Gaiety theatre, which is a part of the G7 multiplex. No other film in the 50-year-old history of the theatre has had a 9 am screening ever. As reported exclusively by Bollywood Hungama, the 9 am show on the day of the release, which is January 25, was sold out in a jiffy.
