Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff recently made a spiritual pit stop amidst their promotional schedule in Abu Dhabi. The duo, who are gearing up for the release of their action-packed film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, paid a visit to the BAPS Hindu Mandir. Situated in Abu Dhabi, the BAPS Hindu Mandir is the first Hindu temple in the city.

Akshay Kumar took to social media to share a glimpse of their visit, donning a traditional white kurta adorned with black motifs and black trousers. The duo was welcomed by Brahmaviharidas Swami, who greeted them with garlands of flowers against the backdrop of the Wall of Harmony—a striking feature of the temple that showcases iconic monuments from around the world, adorned with the word 'harmony' in diverse languages.

During their tour, Akshay and Tiger had the opportunity to explore the origins of the sacred rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati through Brahmaviharidas Swami, underlining the spiritual significance of these revered water bodies. The priest also elucidated the importance of the Divine Eye overlooking the confluence of these rivers.

As per a press note published on the website of BAPS, the Bollywood stars conveyed their appreciation to His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler of Abu Dhabi, for their vision in establishing the BAPS Hindu Mandir. Tiger Shroff said, “The moment I stepped foot in the Mandir, I felt an amazing vibration and energy. I could feel the energy. It was so pure!”

Akshay Kumar echoed these sentiments, describing the visit as a surreal experience and lauding the Mandir's inclusive ethos, where individuals from all walks of life can seek solace and offer prayers without discrimination. He asserted, “This is like a dream! It is something you only imagine. I will always remember this experience. This Mandir is so open; anyone from any culture, caste or religion can come here and offer their prayers. There is no discrimination. This is truly a beautiful place.”

Coming to their film, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, was recently released in theatres. Besides Akshay and Tiger, the film also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist while Sonakshi Sinha, Alaya F and Manushi Chhillar play pivotal roles.
