The couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in 2007. The welcomed their daughter, Aaradhya, into the world in 2011.

On the other hand, Abhishek Bachchan was last seen in Ghoomer. It was a sports drama directed by R Balki. The film centred around the journey of a physically challenged woman, portrayed by Saiyami Kher, who emerges as a star bowler for the Indian cricket team under the guidance of her coach, played by Abhishek Bachchan. Alongside Abhishek and Saiyami, the movie also starred Shabana Azmi and Angad Bedi in pivotal roles.
