Salman Khan reaches Kolkata and meets CM Mamata Banerjee

Salman Khan, who recently went on a performance tour across the country, has decided to continue with his Da-Bangg The Tour Reloaded. While the superstar landed in Kolkata after many years to give a live performance at the East Bengal Club, he also took this opportunity to meet up with the Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee.

Salman Khan was scheduled to perform at the East Bengal Club as a part of his Dabangg Tour on May 13, Saturday and ahead of the show, the superstar paid a visit to the CM Mamata Banerjee at her residence at around 4pm, according to recent reports. ANI posted a video of Khan dressed in semi-formals as he was snapped outside the CM’s place in Kolkata. The latter not only greeted him warmly but also presented him with a shawl. As per reports, many fans of the superstar gathered around the CM’s residence during this meet-up and the actor was present there for about half hour before taking off to perform at the show.

Besides Salman Khan, the Da-Bangg The Tour Reloaded also has Sonakshi Sinha, Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, Guru Randhawa, and Maniesh Paul joining the superstar in his performance tour.

On the work front, Salman Khan was last seen in the film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan alongside Pooja Hegde. Directed by Farhad Samji, the film marked the return of Salman Khan during Eid. Besides this, the actor has Tiger 3 which is a part of the ambitious spy universe created by Aditya Chopra under the YRF banner. The film will reunite the popular onscreen couple Salman with Katrina Kaif and will feature Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist. It is also expected to feature Shah Rukh Khan in a special appearance. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, it is slated to release on November 10, 2023.
