Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is indeed a hardworking artist, given that he releases 3 to 4 films a year. However, the year 2022 was not so good for him, and many other actors as the Hindi films performed poorly at the box office. Sharing his piece of mind on the same, Akshay Kumar shed some light on the topic.
In his recent chat at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2022, the Kesari actor opened up on Hindi films failing to get the audience in the theatre. He asserted, “Things have changed, the audience wants something different, and this is what we should think. It is our fault, it is not the audiences’ fault that they are not coming (to theatres). We have to give them what they want. We have to dismantle what we have made.
Elaborating further, the Toilet: Ek Prem Katha actor added, “We have to learn more. I want to start in a completely different way. And, this is what I have started. Just give them something different and try to talk to them, and understand what they want. After the pandemic, their choices have changed rapidly.”
Khiladi Kumar also spoke about doing 3 to 4 films a year. He said, “I do four films a year. Yes, I do it. I do ads, sure. I work, but I am not stealing from anyone. I don't understand. Media persons ask me why do you get up early? But morning is for waking up,” at the event.
Coming to his professional front, the 55-year-old actor was last seen in Ram Setu, which was released on October 25.
