Netflix megahit series Money Heist will come to a close with season 5. The final season announcement was made on July 31, 2020. Now, the production has come to a close. The lead stars of the hit Spanish series Álvaro Morte (Professor) and Itziar Ituño (Raquel/Lisbon) have wrapped the series.
Álvaro Morte, who was leaving the set of the series on Tuesday, shared a video of himself bidding goodbye to the series. "Leaving for the last time the set of @lacasadepapel Words are unnecessary. Thankful for so much, for everything. To the fans (the first ones, of course), to the entire team of @vancouvermediaproducciones and @netflixes @netflix And to you, my dear Professor. I will miss having such a good time with you. THANK YOU," he wrote in his Instagram post.

Itziar Ituño also bid farewell to her character of the last five seasons. She shared series of pictures from several seasons and wrote, "Now yes! GOODBYE, Inspector Raquel Murillo, Lisbon thief !! This is this trip !! Now yes! GOODBYE."

In the final season, two new cast members have been added to the final season of the Spanish juggernaut - Miguel Ángel Silvestre from Sense8, and Patrick Criad. The final 10 episodes will also tell the story of Denver's childhood friend Manila played by Belén Cuesta.
