Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds and K-pop group Stray Kids' Bang Chan fanboy on Twitter and Hugh Jackson just got dragged into it

It all began on May 20, when Stray Kids performed a mashup of their hit 'God’s Menu' and BLACKPINK’s 'DDU-DU DDU-DU' on the Korean show Kingdom: Legendary War. The performance was inspired by the movie Deadpool with member Felix recreating some parts of Ryan Reynolds, the set was decked in props, costumes as they paid homage to the superhero film. Interestingly, the leader of the group Bang Chan is a resident Deadpool fan.

After the episode, a fan-edited video went viral on Twitter which prompted Ryan Reynolds to respond.

Bang Chan, who did a live stream over the weekend, shared his appreciation for Ryan Reynolds after the actor's response. “I did not expect the one — the almighty one, the one — the Ryan Reynolds to actually see our performance. That was actually crazy. I was really lost for words,” he said.

“You guys know that I really, really like Ryan Reynolds,” he said in his livestream. “Not [just] ‘Deadpool’, but every other movie he’s been in, the original Wolverine movie as well. The stuff that he does now, as well, I’ve been keeping up with it. I think he’s an amazing person, very funny.”

He later quipped, “And yes, I would like an autographed.”

On Sunday, Reynolds took to his social media to respond to Bang Chan's message by signing an Aviation Gin bottle. “First, I have your autograph right here, Bang Chan,” he wrote. “Will send to you this week. Second, as a new @Stray_Kids fan, can I get an autograph? #NewFavouriteAustralian,” added Reynolds, once again referencing his ongoing feud with Wolverine star Hugh Jackman.

On May 24, Bang Chan responded to Reynolds with two pictures and his autography on Stray Kids' album 'In Life'. Enjoying the new tag of 'New Favourite Australian', he jokingly apologised to Hugh Jackman and wrote, "I also have two things. First, an autograph for you? Already on its way. Along with some other goodies that might suit the Red Suit," he wrote adding, "Second, sorry @RealHughJackman #TheNewFavouriteAustralian."

Stray Kids' fans, called Stays, are living for this interaction between Reynolds and Bang and well, everyone's wondering how Hugh Jackman feels about this.
