Earlier this month, the iconic film Rangeela starring Urmila Matondkar, Aamir Khan, and Jackie Shroff completed 25 years of its release. The star cast was ecstatic to be a part of a small reunion where they recalled all the good memories and special moments that were surely a highlight of the time. In an interaction with RJ Rohini for Radio Nasha, ace music composer AR Rahman revealed that the director Ram Gopal Varma and him weren’t allowed at the premiere.
He said, “I’ll tell you the most interesting thing, I think it was the music premiere or the movie launch, we were all going from the offices or hotel to Eros theatre. Everybody was let in, except Ramu (Ram Gopal Varma) and me. The security caught us and asked why we’re going in. We were both small people and then Jaggu said ‘Hey! They’re the director and composer, let them in!’”
Well, they surely had a great time during this reunion!
